There's no I in Ski...

Today was my first time skiing. I must admit I was a bit hesitant to learn skiing because I always imagined that if I lost control my legs would go in opposite directions and I’d end up crotch planting in the snow and end up flailing about down the mountain. Perhaps it was my previous snowboarding experience, or just my dumb luck, but my skiing experience went well with zero falls and only one or two close calls. The instructor said I use too much edge when turning. I guess that’s my inner snowboarder trying to ride the fresh powder.
