The "US" in Trust

What do you do when trust is broken? How do you go about fixing it? Can it even be fixed? Or is trust one of those things that once it has been broken, no matter what you do, there’s no going back to the way things were. Will there always be that doubt that lingers in the back of your mind? How will you know if they are lying to you or not? Trust is like a mirror; once it’s shattered, even if you put all the pieces back together, you’ll never believe that what you’re looking at is real.
