Squaw + Sushi = Squshi

Location, location, location. One of the best things about staying at a ski resort is that everything is within walking distance. One of the worst things is the inflated prices that restaurants and shops will charge because they can get away with it. Mamasake in The Village at Squaw Valley is no exception. $13.50 for veggie tempura? $16.75 for a tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, and avocado roll? Yikes. In addition, the place was so small and the tables so awkwardly placed near the bar, that I had a gentleman’s ass in my face and on my food the entire night.
